THE MIND

  • THE MIND

Why is it in life things come about the way they do? Whether it be one word heard wrong, one thing may have been seen wrong, or one thing came out to be everything you foresaw… interpreted, to be let down, betrayed, backstabbed, and belittled! I believe everything and everyone you meet in life happens for a reason, maybe an experience, a lesson, a friend, an enemy, a soulmate, an acquaintance.

Never be quick to judge, you never know what that person is going through, or has been through. Maybe they can relate, or maybe same book different chapter. They say do not hold grudges. It’s bad for the mind and soul. But what if the grudge is at one’s self? Anger, disappointment, disgust, self-inflicted pain. Because of your own faults, choices, and failures?

I guess you can let it all go… give up… say fuck it and just self-medicate. Become comfortably numb. To escape from reality. Block out the truth that it is what it is. Learning to forgive is not something that happens overnight. Because can you ever truly forget?

The mind is the most powerful thing! Once a word heard wrong, one thing seems wrong, one person spoke out, while the other interpreted it wrong.
